My Personal Top Ten High School Musician Problems
1.Getting so close to the band members and getting heartbroken every time one graduates.
2. Always having marching/concert/symphony band music in your head. Band takes over your mind.
3. Dealing with trumpet players that have big egos.
4. Trying to get a good sound out of your sax. Always.
5. Dealing with freshmen. The drama, lack of knowledge, etc. Love them, but...yeah.
6. Living through peaks and valleys.
7. People hitting your brand new instrument, or being hit by an instrument such as trombones.
8. Not having any free weekends because of marching band competitions.
9. Having to do a ton of homework and study for a test on band practice days.
10. Having a sister/brother in band. AND having them be your squad leader.
